About MIVZAK
What this is
MIVZAK pulls headlines from every major Israeli newsroom onto one wire, groups reports about the same event, and always links out to the original article. We do not write news or produce any reporting of our own.
The distinctive part is the comparison: for any story you can see which outlets covered it, when, and under which headline. No single outlet can show you that.
How stories are chosen
There is no human editor and no editorial position. Ranking is purely computed from three factors:
- Recency: newer stories rank higher, decaying steadily over time.
- Cross-source coverage: the more outlets reporting the same event, the higher it ranks.
- Section: breaking and security carry more weight than other desks.
Grouping into one story is based on headline overlap. It is imperfect — two reports of the same event can occasionally appear separately.
Use of AI
When enabled, one-sentence summaries and section classification are generated automatically. Headlines themselves are never rewritten — they appear exactly as the outlet published them.
Full text and copyright
The built-in reader renders the article body for convenient reading, alongside a prominent link to the source. Copyright remains entirely with the originating outlet.
Any outlet that would rather we not render its full text: we will honour that and switch to excerpt-only. Contact kiril.u@gmail.com.
