Kinneret: 9-year-old hospitalized in serious condition due to rare amoeba

The Health Ministry reports that a child has been hospitalized in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Rambam Hospital in Haifa after swimming in the Sea of Galilee and developing severe encephalitis.
