בהמשך לחקירה המתנהלת על ידי מחוז ש"י של המשטרה בעקבות האירוע אמש (שישי) בפאתי סעיר, נעצרו הלילה על ידי לוחמי צה"ל בהכוונה מודיעינית, שלושה תושבי הכפר הפלסטיני שהועברו לידי חוקרי המשטרה.
