בתגובה לפעולה נגד כוחות צה"ל הותקפו הלילה (שבת) תשתיות חיזבאללה בנבטייה ואנסאר שבדרום לבנון. התקיפות בוצעו בעקבות פעולה של ארגון הטרור נגד כוחות צה"ל ברכס עלי טהאר שנמצא בתוך המרחב בו כוחות צה"ל פועלים.
