משרד החוץ של איחוד האמירויות הודיע הלילה (רביעי) על הפסקת כלל הפעילויות המסחריות והכלכליות עם איראן, בעקבות השיגורים לעבר המדינה מוקדם יותר. במקביל, משרד החוץ האיראני הכחיש אחריות ומסר: "לא אנחנו שיגרנו טילים לאיחוד האמירויות".
