האיחוד האירופי הציע עזרה כלכלית לספרד, זו בכוונה לחזק את ההגנה על הגבול באזור קואטה, כך אמר היום (שלישי) נציב ההגירה האירופי מגנוס ברונר. לדבריו, כ-70,000 איש חצו את הגבול ממרוקו למובלעת הספרדית, כשחלקם "תודלקו" על ידי גורמים עבריינים.
