הערוץ הלבנוני אל-מיאדין דיווח היום (שני) מפי מקור איראני כי ארצות הברית הגישה לאיראן ויתור הנוגע לסגירת הנתיב הדרומי במצר הורמוז. לפי הנטען, הרפוביקה האיסלאמית השיבה להצעה האמריקנית האחרונה בדחיית פתיחת מצר הורמוז, עד לסיום מוחלט של המלחמה.
