שני חשודים תושבי תל שבע בשנות ה-20 וה-30 לחייהם נעצרו לאחר שירו על עמוד חשמל בנגב, ואיימו על עובדים שהגיעו לתקן את התקלה ולהשיב את אספקת החשמל למקום. מפקד תחנת עיירות אמר: "פגיעה בתשתיות ציבוריות ואיומים על עובדים הם חציית קו אדום"
